Fine. I’ll post something about Valentine’s Day.
As you know, unless you were living under a rock for the past 2000 years, Valentine’s Day is celebrated on February 14th. It’s supposed to be a holiday for people in love to show their affection for each other.
Now that you have had your dumb-as-bricks history lesson for the day, we’ll get to the other, pretty much obvious stuff.
What is it about this holiday that makes people panic and run out to the store to buy flowers, chocolates and stuffed animals?
Better yet, why is it that most people wait until a day like Valentine’s Day to tell that special someone that they love them?
I tell Terry that I love him everyday, many times. I hug him often and kiss him even more. I don’t hide my feelings and then spring them on him on Valentine’s Day just because other people do.
In other news, I love this:
and I really love this:
and I love you all for reading and commenting. Hint hint!
Happy Valentine’s Day! And if you are one of those people who would like to shoot Cupid with his own arrow, Happy Sunday!
