Happy Easter, plus Terry bought an iPad.

Despite getting up at 6am for the church’s 7am sunrise breakfast, Terry allergies, a bug bite on my arm that is driving me up the wall, a cranky 11-month-old who won’t sleep and a toddler who only ate biscuits, cake and chocolate today, our Easter was great!

The grandparents spoiled the girls, the girls charmed the church people and I took 39284792387 pictures from the Easter Egg hunt through wet grass.

We went to Indianapolis yesterday so that Terry could buy an iPad on the same day as the launch (I didn’t know we were doing this until AFTER we were headed up there). The iPad is actually a lot cooler than I thought it was going to be- it’s basically a giant iPhone. One thing that I like about it is that you can use the same apps that you buy for the iPhone on the iPad without having to re-purchase them. I’ll write more about the iPad later.

We also planned on going to the zoo, but the rain put a damper (sorry, bad pun) on that plan, so we went to the Children’s Museum instead. It was amazing! Ariana and Harper had a great time.

Since my brain is fried from two days of getting up super early, the rest of my post will be pictures taken with my brand spankin’ new Canon Rebel Xsi, courtesy of an amazing anonymous “donor”!

Hope you all had a great easter!

  1. Congrats on the iPad purchase . . . we’re LOVING it as well! See you have little ones, and the entire family may enjoy some of our apps. In fact, we have an iPad version of our “Tale of Peter Rabbit” that has been a huge hit over the Easter weekend. Please let me know if you would like to review, and I’ll be happy to forward you the information.
